JRRTolkien - The Lord of the Rings. Hands down, my favorite for 25+ years.

He built a world of exacting details...wrote a folktale for his entire nation. He used the classic of good vs evil, in such an imaginative way, that to this day, I secretly wish it were true....so I could be an elf.

The Other Twin by Hunter Morgan.

This book have the feature character in plot and twist. Showing how serial killer twin son get revenge on the twin who testimony against there father. All the threads come together in a taut, surprising climax, but even this final twist fails to offset the book's sluggish middle and tepid romance.

The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks.

The Wedding is the sequel to The Notebook. I love The Notebook and I have read it (in my opinion, the book is much better than the movie). Although it is a sequel, I don't think that one would need to read The Notebook in order to know what is going on in The Wedding. I love it because of the unexpected ending. It is a sweet and romantic ending.

Forrest Gump and Gump and Company (2 different books by Winston Groom). I read them after I watched the movie. I like them because I don't know of anyone else that read them.

'Perfume' by Patrick Susskind. An amazing book that makes you consider the role of the outsider. It's just a beautiful, twisted, wonderfully written, fantastical tale.

Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas. It was one of the few books that had made me cry. It is a woman's journal to her unborn son. I read it while I was pregnant. I usually read much darker stuff, but it was great.

I agree, too. DaVinci Code was awesome.

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I've never read a book that was more poetic and true than that one. I just love it, and i think everyone should read it at least once.
