well, do u believe in being innocent until proven guilty? :) just as u would trust your bf and need proof, u should also dig in and investigate *why* ur friend is saying those things. if she genuinely thought so but it was a mistake, or she was trying to sabatoge u, u have to figure that out. but don't automatically take one person's side over another.. as a good friend u would hope that she has ur best interests at heart. i dated a guy that i hung out 6 days out of 7 days a week! later i found out that he was dating other girls on that ONE DAY can u believe the nerve?? =T of course i would've said hell no, i see him so often he would never cheat blah blah, but look what happen. being careful and seeking out proof doesn't mean you don't trust the bf, it just means that someone is making accusations and u need to get to the bottom of it.

I would first evaluate my friendship with the person and decide if they are a trust worthy person or not, if i cant or wouldn't trust them with some secret that is very important to me, then I wouldn't believe her. However if i did totally trust them then i would take what they are saying very seriously.
Also if the boyfriend is a dog i would believe them.
either way someone Else shouldn't be able to ruin a relationship, they should just stay more aware when it comes to the boyfriend

I would ask my friend what she saw the boyfriend and the other girl doing. If it were just talkling, I would probably over look it, giving them the benefit of the doubt (perhaps the other girl is a family member and talking about a family member).
If the 2 were kissing, I would confront the boyfriend, but not in an accusatory manner.

I would NEVER trust a boyfriend totally, and I would never trust a freind totally. Therefore, I would tell my friend that I was going to have to ask my BF about this matter. More than likely, your friend is the most honest one. But, you never know. Just don't trust any guy too much. You know your friend, and knows if she is an honest person or not.

immediately trusting someone else over your boyfriend is a mistake and it would show that your relationship with your boyfriend is in trouble whether or not he was actually cheating. i would just tell what boyfriend what my friend said and ask if tis true or not. don't get angry or mad, just ask. i wouldn't avoid it. maybe i feel this way because i trust my boyfriend but i feel like i could talk to him about anything.

I wish mine did. I was with this one guy for 3 years. A few of my friends came up to me and told me to dump him and not trust him. However, when I asked why, they just told me to find out for myself, that they weren't going to tell me the reason. So, a girl I barely knew came up to me one day and told me that my boyfriend cheated on me with my best friend. I didn't believe it, but I went to find out. I confronted him at his work place, where he confirmed it. I called the friend, who also confirmed it. And as for my so called friends? They came crying and apologising to me, telling me they just didn't want to get involved. Nice, right? The point is, you can believe what you want, but if a question or concern comes up, find some evidence and make the call yourself.

I had that happen to me and I assumed they were lying *ss holes trying to screw up my relationship. Turns out I was defensive for nothing cause a year later i found out they were telling the truth. I was 100% sure he'd never do that but things happen and i got over it now we're getting married in 3 days!!!!!!!!
