Snootchie bootchies!
Acutally, I didn't like Clerks when I saw it years ago. It seemed much funnier to me when it was on cable recently.
So far, my fave Kevin Smith movie is Dogma. We'll see how this one stacks up.

I think it's funny that Kevin Smith said Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back would be the last movie in the View Askew-niverse. Then he made Jersey Girl, which tanked. So here we are, back in Paycheck Land! And don't get me wrong - I friggin' love him and his movies. But I think the real sellout was ever saying he would stop doing the movies that were his bread-and-butter. I'm hoping that having both Randall and Jay in the same movie again will ratchet the comedy up a notch.

i can't wait for clerks 2! i'm a big fan of kevin smith and his work. i watched clerks the other day with my dad and even HE liked it. kevin smith is a nice guy as well; i met him when jersey girl was being filmed. (i live right by the cemetery used in the film and paulsboro is about 7 minutes away from me).

I'm conflicted, I LOVED the first one and I love most all Kevin Smith movies (mallrats is one of the all time underrated cult classics) but I just have trouble getting hyped for this movie based on the previews. I'm sure I will see it but I'm not going in expecting greatness.

I'm excited. I've liked every Kevin Smith movie so far. "Jersey Girl" was good too, don't hate.
