what was the best movie ever and WHY? and when i say the best i mean the best in everything(story, directing, acting,shooting, etc...) from all kind of movies(Drama, Action, etc...) !!

BraveHeart.... true story, surprise ending, action packed, good plot, amazing acting, good stunts. Gladiator was good too, but Braveheart set the standard.

I would have to say Pulp Fiction. You have like 4 different subplots that end up tying into the main plot of the film about 2 hired hit men and their boss. It has comedy, drama, action, wonderful actors and a great script.

wow this is easy......... Scarface, when watch that movie you don't ever see Al Pacino you just see Tony Montana a political refugee from Cuba. The directing is great, like in the scene when dude get cut up by the chainsaw, you never see it touch him but you still walk way feeling like you just watched a guy get cut up by a chainsaw. It's just an all around great movie.

TWISTER: Helen Hunt & Bill Paxton Great acting , the entire cast is fabulous the story line is fantastic the sound effects and graphics of the movie hypnotise you. Absolutely MY FAVORITE MOVIE EVER!!!

jaws is the best movie ever. the effects were brutal yet believable. it is the best known soundtrack of all time, and the guy that played mr. quint probably was the most amazing character ever created.
