i am so addicted to the sims, it's crazy. My friends are 2. Why?

Because you have nothing better to do .....get a real life and stop pretending with a game and get out and do things on your own!!!!!!

For like 2 years Sims ruled my life, until my cpu could no longer handle the Expansion Packs I kept buying. My goal after college is to buy an ultimate media computer that can handle The Sims. That has to go down in history is the best game ever!!!

The Sims are a simulated life. A person can recreate everything about their appearance to their line of work and material possessions.
Most people would like to change things about their life, and this way they don't have anything holding them back. I think that this is why people of all ages can relate to this game and why it is so addicting.
There are also so many different things that you can do with the game.

most people have no control over their own lives so they love the sims because it gives them full control.. sad really I guess its why I dont play it.

well, i think it is because it is the fact that you can controll the life of people. you are basically god, and you can either make them have affairs, have 3 million kids, or just live life normally till they grow old.
