I'm just curious how many people are "mainstream" news only kind of people.

Of course. You should say "read" too.

I start with BBC news.

Then work my way to Aljazeera and islamonline.

Then to buzzflash, TheNation

Then finally CNN, MSNBC.

Then Fox.

Its better that way to see where Fox is spinning.

Personally, one of my favorite web sites is web-junk 2 and Rotten.com is another. (Although I sometimes have a hard time getting it out of my head when I look at some of that junk.) News is okay and informative on world and local issues that everyone should know... But really, what good does knowing any of it do for most people (except for the idiots that actually enjoy arging issues and opinions half to death.) when in reality, there is little we can actually ever do about it?

I like to be entertained and I do have a tendency to be drawn to debauchery and useless bits of nonsense information that is more educational on a well... different level, a more psychological observant level... I like to watch people, real people, not politics and weather... BORING!

like the guy on rotten.com who got 2 potatoes and a glass jelly jar stuck up his butt. Not that is just funny stuff! I'd rather not watch George. W give another speech on EVERY SINGLE news channel about something I have no control over anyway. but the rational and the reasoning of a man who would ever even TRY to get a glass jelly jar up his butt... FOR ANY REASON... Now that is fascinating to me. But I am a wacko so, that's not saying much...

I watch, read, listen to all forms of media, mainstream and alternative, I like to get different views on things. Listening to only one voice gives you a very narrow and misinformed perspective on the world
