To each his/her own. People are people and we should not judge each other4 on our sexual views, race, color, creed, religion, etc.
The movie was terrific! I loved it.

I like gay people, I am one. As for the story of Brokeback Mountain, I think it told a very good story about how the pressure put on people by our families and communities can keep people from being happy.
I've said for the past 6 years that I'd like one of George Bush's daughters to end up married to some gay guy, so that she could tell her father about the pain, caused by forcing a man to fit a mold he was not destined to fit. If you look at the damage to the two families here, because two gay men married and had children, when they belonged together, and not with these wives, both who were decent people who didn't deserve to have their lives disrupted this way either.

I haven't see the movie "Brokeback Mountain" yet. Have you seen the movie "V for Vendetta" and what do you think about the issues it brings up? (There is a story about a lesbian or bisexual girls in that movie.) Gay people are just people, some good some bad. Freedom is good. The freedom to have opinions and make choices.

Gays are like any other group of people; good and bad. In regards to the movie Brokeback Mtn., I loved it very much. In fact the two characters could have been replaced with a rich/poor love; two women; or Christian/Muslim of forbidden love, it would still be a great movie.

We has human should understand & listen to everyone else's opinions regardless of sexually orientation, race, regilion, background, or anything what we think of them of a gay person(s)
Personnally, the gay people should get the same respect as any other person(s) where you live or what we do. They deserve to heard of and speak what they want to tell the people who oppoes the gay people.
Well, I also never saw the movie but would like to see the movie.

As a former GAY male. And now a heterosexual male.
I think with it being 2006. People just need to love one another regardless of sexual preferences.
I hate to report that I have not seen the movie yet. However I do plan to watch it.

Gay people are just like "non-Gay" people, we just prefer physical and emotional relationships with the same gender. The book was great, the movie a little watered down.

We are who we are, we cant change that. Some would say... well what about reproducing? Maybe gays are here to adopt and raise unwanted children?... I am not gay so I wouldn't know the emotions they are feeling. As long as they are happy with ONE partner and going to lead a happy family.
5 star rate for the movie

to each his own but then I was very disappointed in the movie as a whole. I felt it was a good indication of what a woman thinks two guys relationship would be like. But it is not very realistic on the whole.
I Read the book and the guys in the movie played their parts as they where written but the sex scenes where not believable and very disappointing.
