here aremy questions
1. will my parakeets wings grow back?

2. I dont see them jumping up and down like they use to? is it because they are scared because i tried to cut there wings of or because they dont have wings?

3. if I take it out of the cage, is it safe now?

Cutting their wing feathers or flight feathers is a delicate and very sensitive issue. When you cut them, and hopefully not too close, they can and usually do grow back when properly trimmed. But you do jeopardize their safety when you cut their wings since being able to jump and fly very quickly is one of their main defense mechanisms. So, if you're considering letting them out of their cage, make EXTRA SURE that they are safe from other possible house pets, and be very sure that you can imagine all the possible places in your house or apartment where they can go and get totally lost, and possibly die. I've had one of mine fly the full length of my house and get lost in a bedroom until I had to move furniture, a dresser to be more specific, before I could rescue her. And you're most likely correct that they aren't jumping now because you took their "jumping power" away from them when you trimmed their wings. They might also be still a bit scared from having them trimmed, but it won't take long before they feel brave again, and they can resume normal flight. They're great birds that I've owned since the early 1970's, and they're very loveable. Have fun with them and treat them as your "favorites". They'll treat you just as you treat them. God Bless you.

certain of route they'll advance again! No concerns birds free feathers each of the time and veterinarians clip off their feathers so that they cat fly the feathers . it is going to advance again from about 6 months to a year now and again for now only mist him with warmth water from a plan mister time-honored. so as that the feathers your parakeet has now can stay beautiful and strong . also i'd recommend to computer screen your cat and placed your parakeet on a better factor or out of your cats attain.good success!

Yes, your bird's wings will come back during it next molting. Be very careful when cutting them. You could cut a blood feather and the bird could bleed to death in a matter of minutes. You shouldn't let parakeets fly around too much. There are alot of things that can hurt them.
Here is a site that can give you all the info on them and their care:

if the wings are cut right the bird will be ok to take out of the cage just remember that it will not be able to fly and can get hurt if it falls. the feathers that make the bird fly will grow back and will need to be cut again. the best thing is to take it to your local pet store and have them trim them that way you know the proper way and how often it needs to be done.

If you cut off the physical wings, then it's a snowball's chance in Hades they'll come back.

If you mean "clipped their wings"--clipped the feathers so they can't fly as well--then yes, their wings will grow back and they'll fly again.

I'm not sure about the jumping up and down.
If you take it out of its cage (and it has clipped wings) then it can still fly, but not far and not very well... so yes, it's relatively safe...

I'd still suggest taking precautions like not taking them out when out-doors, keeping doors and windows closed and lowering blinds.
