He still believes that Al Gore invented the internet, what do you expect!!? The US is the biggest contributer of Global Warming (1/5 of the world population, but 1/4 of the world's CO2 output). Do honestly think he, or Congress for that matter, will admit to that (Especially after rejecting the Kyoto treaty).

I don't believe that GWB thinks global warming is a joke. It's not part of his personal agenda, why would you expect him to give it any regard at all?
As for him bugging out when the pressure is on, it's worked before, go with the tried and true.

Recent comments from the White House seem to indicate that the president has acknowledged the existence of Global Warming, but disputes the contribution of human activities with regards to it and therefore still believes we do not need to curb greenhouse gas emissions.

He never said it was a joke. He supports curtailing pollution. He has passed more environmental friendly bills than his predecessor. He has doubled the size of federally protected marine habitat this year.

He said the international agreements are a unfair...because they are a joke. They put all these restrictions on US businesses but NONE on India or China two of the world largest polluters.

Actions speak louder than biased words.

He does not think of it has an actual joke, but he seems to ignore the the level of importance. Hopefully the next President will take this topic more serious, and actually do something to help.

That's a 'made-up' lie, he has never joked about it. His only concern would be the co$t to American tax payers. You're a joke!
