Depends really on the size tank. tiger barbs can be pretty nippy and you dont want fish with long flowing fins like bettas or guppies. Maybe some tetras. tiger barbs are a tropical fish too so goldfish aren't a good match - goldfish need much cooler water.

Since tiger barbs are semi aggressive and pretty nippy, you will need to get fish that are also semi aggressive and fast. Such fish include gourami and other types of barbs.

I have goldfish in the same tank with tiger barbs. Goldfish aren't very exotic but they are definitely hardy!

rosy barbs, rainbow fish, redtailed shark...I'm not sure how big your tank is.

don't get guppies, they will kill them. An alge eater or an angelfish. but if you are really looking for others...try www.petsmart.com
