Because to liberals all wars are illegal (unless a democrat is in office).

For them it is:
"Peace at any price ... surrender at any cost"

because they believe that there is no such thing as a country telling another country that they are free w/out any stipulations. Take Iraq- We freed you, now do what we say or else you're country will go to hell and a handbag again. Every country is different in the way freedom and justice work. We cant force our values onto them because our values may not mesh with their culture. It just doesnt work that way. Think of it this way- you cant put a spanish speaking child into an english speaking class- they wont learn because they dont know what the teacher is saying. You cant give a man whose been poor all their life tons of money because they will squander it away- they dont know how to invest because they dont know how. You cant tell some who has been a slave all their life that they are free because they have no resources to live a free life. Iraq needs to find their own way to freedom. Let them build and learn by themselves- just like you have to let a child learn by their mistakes. Right now the Conservative movement is the overbearing parent that when they let their child go the child will not know what to do because they have been sheltered all their life. And that is the very reason why we are stuck in Iraq.

Why can't the conservative movement in this country see that “Peace is not absence of conflict, it is the ability to handle conflict by peaceful means.” Ronald Reagan

Remember him? He must have been a liberal, by your definition.

In response to your question:
Terrorists are not to be negotiated with. The war we are in now had nothing to do with terrorism before it started.

Peace (n): 1. The absence of war or other hostilities. 2. An agreement or a treaty to end hostilities. 3. Freedom from quarrels and disagreement; harmonious relations.

Some of them do! Peace,as we understand it in the West,is going to take a lot longer than a few years of US troops domesticating parts of Iraq. That part of the world is so saturated in Islamic fundamentalism that I dont think the US will thoroughly change some aspects of their culture and their views in my lifetime. That is why some of us want the US to pull out now.Not because of simply an absence of combat, but because by an absence of war we Americans are minimising damage to ourselves, against an Islamic world that has yet to understand a
non-combative state as the Western norm.

The liberals don't want peace, not in this country anyway. They want to change America into a socialism country. Read Ann Coulter. To quote Ann "If a Martian landed in America and set out to determine the nation's official state religion, he would have to conclude it is Liberalism, while Christianity and Judaism are prohibited by law."

Liberals DO know this... it's the Conservative Republicans that don't understand the concept of freedom and justice. They wish to rid our country of religious freedom (as in freedom FROM religion) and civil rights all in the name of fear. Keep the people afraid and you can do anything to them.

Quoting Ann Coulter as a qualified source for your conservative argument would be the same as me quoting Michael Moore. You're choosing the most radically conservative person (and one who has said she is intentionally being mean for effect) to make a reasonable point and it doesn't work. Nice try, though.

In your own words, define each of the following: peace, war, freedom, justice.

Then, using the best dictionary that you can find, define each of the above terms.

Finally, compare and contrast your definitions of each of the terms above with the dictionary's definitions.

Academically, the above exercise will provide you with the answers you seek. Otherwise, your question is subject to expressed opinions by the panel of Yahoo! Answers participants.

Or, you could consider conducting your own research on the Internet to answer your question. Good luck!

Because liberals think that a "live and let live" attitude can work against enemies that want to see them wiped off the face of the earth. And they're so stupid that they think a "love-in" with plenty of singing of 60's and 70's folk songs will protect them from explosives and maniacal terrorists.

In short, they are the dumbest MFers on the planet.

Why do you continue to generalize and ridicule liberals and complain when they attack you. What do you expect? And do you have any proof to support your statement? No. I'm a moderate, but even to me you sound arrogant, and the sad thing is you'll write another question like this later-refusing to learn your lesson.
