Here is a bunch of hints from eHow.com users on how to remove ink from leather (biro is pen in brit). Hope something here works for you. Be very careful of the nail polish remover -- on leather couches, that may be a problem. Good luck!

"Goof Off". You can buy it at home depot or maybe wal mart in the paint section. It works. I did it yesterday on my white leather couch. I used the goof off, quickly cleaned that off with water and then used leather conditioner on top.

It's very strong, so do a test patch first and use gloves. Ventilate your room by opening the windows. On the can it says that you can use it on vinyl, so I tried it on leater and voila - it worked!!

Today I used it on the same couch to remove other marks that have been on the couch for a while. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. Just make sure you rinse it off well because it is a very strong solvent. My whole living room smells like a permanent marker.

Use rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball. Gently swab the area with the cotton ball. It will take several times to get it all out, but it works very well.

Easy. Spray hair spray on it then wipe off with a paper towel.

try spraying hairspray on it then wiping with a cloth...repeating several times will probably be necessary.

If that doesn't work, try nail polish remover.
