What an impossible situation to arise but assuming it anyhow. The records of the UN and the UK Transjordan Mandate clearly show that there were a few Jews living in Palestine for centuries in peace and harmony with the Christians and Muslims also living there. It was only after WW2 and the illegal migration of male Jews (see the ZIM article at Wikipedia for details) into Palestine and their beginning an insurretion against the British, who eventually withdrew their forces after the collapse in 1948 of the Government of Palestine, that all this horrible mess started up.

Muslims are tolerant of other religions (they sometimes charge a religion tax, though) and Christians are tolerant of other religions so long as they don't make a lot of diversive outcry, but Jews are very intolerant of others and actually consider all other people to be "Goys"--"animals"-- and themselves as the "Chosen People".

So! Based on historic precedent, if, somehow, the Palestinians could run Israel--and if, somehow, they could forget all the injustices done them by the Jews, and if, somehow, the Jews could accept this arrangement and drop their "Goy/Chosen People" attitudes toward others, it is my opinion that this entity would be at peace and all the strife would be ended.

Gone. First off the Palestinians would run it into the ground. It's like putting a delinquent child in charge of the household. Nothing good will come of it. It would soon fall into disrepair, and the Palestinians would be in the same place they are now only with a major ghetto on their hands run by a bunch of thugs.

The first part of your statement would have to come true before anyone could know, and that will never happen. Israel is hard-core committed, and the Palestinians will never be forcing THEM out. The recent world news should tell you that.

Horrible. why doesn't the States simply give the Jews a big bit of America to go and live in? Everyone would be happy then.
