The boss is not always right, but you have to be in the right situations to be able to do anything about it.

Of course not. But you have to know that you can tell that not to every boss. I personally do not affraid to tell my boss that he is not right. And when I do that, i am 200% sure of the right answer. And this is not only related to my boss. It is related to boss of my boss as well. If I know for sure the right thing, I will argue no matter what. At the end, it will pay off anway. If not, I can always find another job, as I know with my skills and experience I will have no problems getting new and possibly better job.
But you have to learn how to talk to people (have good communication skills) and be able to show that you know what you are talking about and that you still respect your superior. When you combine those things, you will gain respect, and in the future will get promosion, which will make you moss, which will lead to the same question from your employess: is my boss always right?
So you should place yourself in yoru bosses shooes sometimes too. That is how you get prepared for the higher positions and get better understanding what is going on.

If you're in a meeting with other people - YES. If the boss truly is wrong, approach her/him in their office away from others to talk about the issue. In the end - the boss usually does have the last say, though (doesn't mean they are right !)

Nobody is right all the time..there r times when the boss is wrong...but predominantly bosses like people who swear tht the boss is right every time...therefore the intelligent..believes in investing his words or looks of accepting that the boss is right...Afterall just pretending to accept ur boss is right, cost's u nothing but may pay u something atleast...

No, I don't believe he is always right, but you need to remember that he is always the boss.
I've found the best way of dealing with a disagreement with the boss is to ask that I speak with them privately and tell them the reasons you are concerned with their decision, laying out the issues that you have concern with. Don't accuse or tell them it's their attitude. But when you come out of the door, follow through with what you've discussed. That way you will gain credibility with your boss, because (s)he can depend on you.
Good luck, difficult bosses are a big pain aren't they?

Of course the boss isn't always right because to "error is human". This is why in most cases companies hire a "boss" who manages people and it is the people that he manage that are the "experts" and provide "advise" to the boss who makes the final decision.

I don't know who Boss is, but with a name like Boss, I would tell him he's always right

Always? No, not always. Never accept an absolute. Almost always? Probably, or else he wouldn't be the boss. And if he's not, then in time he won't be the boss.

to put it very simple i have problems with boss's you see i always prove them wrong. i was working at wal-mart and 250.00 was missing from my drawer and i sat and fought with her that i couldn't have possible taken it cuz not only am i not that way but cuz the camera's would catch it. i let her go through all my reciepts it showed it to be correct on turns out the credit cards swiper thingy was off and taking more money from the credit cards. needless to say i got a pink slip but it isn't worth fight for cuz you know wal-mart isn't all that great. i have a big tendency with boss's and everyone else to be blunt and tell it like it is to them. my boss even had the nerve to ask me if she looked ok in what she was wearing i told her point out your top makes your boobs show more i would figure you are a **** in that top and your pants well your bootie just don't work cuz it's to huge in them. boy was she mad but she asked.lol

No because sometimes the boss isn't always there. The boss sometimes doesn't even know the rules of his own store sometimes.
