what is rasism whats ur views on black or white people?

hi im doing a project on rasism and i dont really kow much about it exsept that being rasist about ppl just 4 the skin is wrong and i would agree just want to know if you can help x

First of all it's racism and it is wrong! The only difference between black and white is a little pigment called melanin. We both have red blood and we all eliminate waste just the same. White ppl tried to make us feel like we are subliminal because they knew the strength that the blacks possess. They took us from Africa and then stole our gold and all the riches that we had from us and sold us into bondage. We might think that it's only white people that are racist but you have negroes who are also. They are the ones that bleach or lighten their skins and dekink their hair so they can look European or be close to it. They are the same ones that think that if you are black you are ugly and think that you are less a person than they are. I think it's full time we stop this ignorance cuz white people are crazy and black people are wild but so what we all have faults that we need to fix. Even what I just said is a generalization for not all white people are stupid and not all blacks are wild. We need to stop this because it is one's character that determines his value to society and not his colour for colour is skin deep but you character reaches to the soul.

Racism is hatred or dislike for anyone who is a different race than you. It can apply to other races, besides just blacks and whites. I feel that, as it states in the Declaration of Independence, all men are created equal. We are all different, but we all contributed to society today. African Americans gave us jazz and swing music, and Asians gave us popular food. There is no reason for people to hate other people because they are different. I mean, not many people liked Hitler because he hated Jews, and acted on that hatred. Racism shouldn't be tolerated because while there are no concentration camps for black people, the way they were and are in some cases still treated isn't good either. It is not the color of the skin that makes me racist, but rather, the color of their hearts. If a person has a black, cold, evil heart, then, I won't like them! But, if they have a loving heart, that is pure and true, then, I can respect that. I feel that the government is racist and bigoted, because it is the only thing that changes the rules for some. They give loans to certain sects of people, but not others. They give homes, college educations, etc, to some, but not to others. THAT is the only racism I have seen, and THAT racism is directed and controlled by governments around the world, NOT by the ordinary citizens.

To me, racism is an outdated theory, and I believe that we are intelligent enough now that we should all be able to look past a person's skin color and into what actually makes the person who they are.

However, I do get somewhat annoyed when I see more opportunities (scholarships, internships) for minorities, which is based on the age old theory of racism.

I do not agree with Racism at all, everyone lives and breathes the same air, we all are just human beings with different features. We all have a heart, lungs etc we all walk,talk and we all have emotions and feelings.

My opinion is that racists are scared of difference, its easy to pick on someone different to you, isn't it?. When in fact they are just insecure about themselves.

Racism (note spelling for your project) is a discrimination founded in ignorance and fear. Sadly, your suggestion that people are either black or white could fall under that banner.

Racism is treating people differently because of where they come from (it's not always about skin colour). If you're British or American or whatever and you decide that you don't like French people, for example, that's racist.

The colour of your skin doesn't define you as a person, your actions do.

People who judge on the basis of colour are reacting because people like people to be just like them, and judging on colour is a very easy thing to do, albeit small-minded.
