you can't force a baby to fall asleep. To help calm her and fall asleep faster though, you should swaddle her, give her a pacifier, and gently rock her until she falls asleep. Works like a charm with every baby I've had.

i have one of those i just put her on the floor and let her play for a little bit then i pick her up after she has had enough and give her a bottle and rock her. oh make sure there is something colorful on the tv for her to look at while playing on the floor so she has some entertainment...

Get the stroller out, grab a bottle of water and go for a long walk. If you're scared to wake the baby taking her out of the stroller......Stroll her inside and leave her in there. **I've also found that walking around the house helps to**

Give her a warm bottle, rock her, and sing something soft and mellow. It does not matter what you sing, I use to sing the song Garden Party to my son and he would nod right off. (The lullabies did not work with him).
If all else fails, a car ride always worked with both of my kids.

at 4 months old there is no specific way to do it. Try calming her with a bottle and rocking...maybe a swing.

Feed her a bottle and then when you place her on your chest to burp her, put her close to where she can feel your hearbeat. Some babies also liked to be rocked gently to sleep.

That will help her to relax and go to sleep.

when i tried to put my twin siblings to sleep i sing to them while giving them a nice warm bottle, DO NOT LET THE BABY SLEEP ALOT DURING THE DAY OR THE BABY WILL KEEP YOU UP ALL NIGHT

i had to learn that on my own
