Most of the 'hard' Sudoku puzzles I do have 22-24 clues to start off with. Are there some with fewer clues? I'm looking for a real challenge. What is the minimum amount of clues that still lead to a solvable puzzle?

This is actually still unknown and some mathematicians are trying to figure it out. The smalest number of clues that lead to unique solution is 17, but nobody proved that you can not do it with less. There is a puzzle with 16 clues that has 2 solutions.
There are sudoku books that have very challenging puzzles. It is not always the number of clues that determines the difficulty.
