Most feminists would define 'feminism' as, 'the quest for complete equality amongst men and women". However, can men and women ever be equal? Should men and women rather search for equity and harmony?

I would firstly suggest if you look further into feminism, you would find 'most' feminists would NOT define feminism as a need for equality because feminism is simply not as clear cut as this. However, since you ask, no - men and women can never be equal simply because of their differences. However this does not mean women should be defined in constant relation to men and by men. Until this time, I don't think we can ever reach equity or harmony for either sex.

Absolutely to the "men and women rather search for equity and harmony" Feminism was an important step for females redefining their roles to the world. However, like all revolutions, it had some bad aftereffects. My argument is that men and women are the same thing. Humans. We are made for each other to be companion to each other. Perhaps to 'go beyond' this simple truth by saying; Men are supposed to do ___,Women are supposed to do ___ is just a self defeating (and Political) way that slows down our chances at being female and male companions together.

Yes, men and women should search for harmony rather than trying to be equal. I don't think they can ever be equal at the same time. There are gives and takes in life. For example, my husband and I are equals, but at different times. I seem to be the negotiator (buying large items like cars and houses) and I am "above" him during those times, but he is at being fair and solving issues, so at that time he is "above" me, but all in all, we compliment each other.
If we were equal on everything all the time, it would just be weird. I don't think women or men should ever look down on the other, they should respect each other at all times, and they need to agree that there are differences. That's my idea of feminism.

They can be equal and they cant. For most jobs its fine. Anything requiring thinking is fit for either. But things that require upper body strength really aren't suitable for women. Fireman ect. You need to be able to sling a fainted person over your shoulder and carry them out. Most women even with training cant do that.

I also don't think women should serve in the military with men. That is not to say they shouldn't serve. But they should have their own groups and units. Men act differently around women for a number of reasons. Hormones being one of the main reasons. This is not only sexual in nature but also protective. Ive heard women are much more tolerant of high-g's and make better pilots then men.

They should seek harmony with each other and appreciate the differences and make it work for society as a whole.

You can't be equal and still have preferential hiring for govt jobs. The feminists are another group that have never protested this inequality, therefore, I consider their "quest for.. . equality..." to be a cynical lie.

Equality can only be achieved after the end of Affirmative Action.

Beats me. I mean, people can do whatever they want. I don't care as long as it's legal and doesn't affect me personally.
