I am a wondering how to start pre teen modeling i dont get what to do to get started in the modeling business.

It's best to get an agent first. Don't get with an agent that expects you to spend over $200 on pictures before you get started. Linda Layman is where I have my daughter signed up. She is only 6 years old, but it's a good place to start. Hope that helps.

I suggest you enroll in modeling classes. Yes, there are classes for that! Hire a photographer (it will cost a few thousand dollars) and get 2 EXCELLENT head shots done, and 4 great body shots that are all contrasting in style, etc. Take this, along with some type of transcript from your modeling classes, to an agent. If the agent chooses to represent you, then you're good to go.

Definitely check out a school or career center like Barbizon or John Cassablanca. The cost is worth it. It will help you with the basics of both modeling and some insight to the business side. They can help you set up your portfolio and offer good contacts.

YOU CAN GO TO YAHOO SEARCH TO FIND AGENCIES NEAR YOU. SOMETIMES SCOUTS WILL COME TO YOUR AREA TO FIND TALENT. YOU CAN GO TO THEIR OPEN CASTING CALL. Just get your pictures taken by a professional photogrpher and then find an agency and you will get small gigs for preteen models. and if you want you will continue in the bussiness.
