It is set in England, looks to be 1700's give or take a couple hundred years. It is NOT The Libertine, I've already seen that. The only thing I can remember from the movie trailer is a guy standing in front of a house, and the maid says something like, "My lady says the pig can come in, but not (you)". I remember thinking it was a movie I wanted to see, but I haven't seen a trailer for it since, and can't remember the title. I saw the trailer about two, maybe three months ago, so it might not be out in theaters yet, or could be coming on DVD. (I don't go to the theater, so all the trailers I see are on DVD movies from Netflix.) Can anyone help?

Thje movie is definitely Cassanova with Heath Ledger. The quote you are looking for is -

"My Lady says the pig must stay outside, but we will take the animal." [takes the pig inside, leaving Casanova outside]
