reduction is necessary. i have chronic back pain due to their size. my mother also had a breast reduction but she never stopped growing before that so i fear that if nothing is done, i might end up the same way.

my mother was well beyond a J years before her reduction.

Your doctor will help you with that. It's relative to your height, weight and bone structure. You don't want them too large or too small.

I would probably go with a B or C. Again, it's relative to your height, weight, and bone structure.

Your doctor will give you suggestions.

I went down to an A cup from a 48DDD, and haven't regretted it. However, I find that since I'm still big around the rib cage, it is next to impossible to find bras. For your age, I would recommend going down to a C cup. You will notice a huge difference in how your back and shoulders feel, but will still have enough to feel attractive, fill out swimsuits, and find bras that will fit you. Good luck with your surgery.

I would like to add that before I had mine, I didn't have a lot of feeling there because there was too much tissue covering the nerve endings. Mine are far more sensitive now that I've had the surgery. Your doctor will work with you to get the right size for your bone frame too. Plus, you'll be perkier after the surgery.

My first question is are you sure you want to do this?? You will loose alot of sensitivity if you do and you are very young. If it is because of medical reasons then I guess you need to do it. I have always had a large bust and I do know how self conscience it can make a girl especially at 16. But remember the idiots that you go to school with now will not be in your life in a couple of years. Think very carefully. OK. If you choose to have this done a C would be a good size. Good Luck

Yes, IGNORE the jerks and the people who are telling you what size to be. Only you and your doctor can decide.

I've always been a D or a DD (except when I was pregnant and shot up to a FF), and I have back problems now....I'm only 31. No matter what, always make sure you wear a bra that's properly fitted, most department stores and Lane Bryant stores will do a fitting for free.

Ask the doctor doing it what would look best for your height and body type. Since they are too large anyway I would make sure they are not too big still for you. At the end of the day, you have to be the one to live with them. Without knowing more about you, it's hard to give a precise answer. Good luck.

I think it all depends on your build. I am 5ft 115lbs and have C cups and I think it looks fine but I wouldn't want to be any bigger I think I would look disproportionate. When you have a consultation with your doctor you should also ask his opinion, he will help lead you in the right direction. I wish you luck any kind of surgery is a hard decision.

Unless you've got a lot of money, just enjoy them. Guys will probably be drooling at your doorstep, if they aren't already. Just make sure to get a good bra that fits properly. My wife wears size F by the way.

It depends on your frame. If you have a small frame, from an A to a B. If you have a large frame, no smaller than a C. Personally, I love having C's more than any other size, so I am partial to it! (I have gone through many weigh changes..)

Doctor will help. I suggest a C-D.

Stay a little big, so it's not extremely dramatic and yuo body adjusts difficultly. If that still doesn't satisfy, then go smaller.

It's not about how you look, remember, just how you feel!

You need to see a reputable plastic surgeon who will examine you and discuss options..the size is between you and the doctor.
