True or False

A pair of angles are supplementary if their respective measures sum to 180 degrees.

If the two supplementary angles are adjacent (i.e. have a common vertex and share a side, but do not have any interior points in common) their non-shared sides form a line.

Hope you understand this.

A Linear Pair Of Angles

It depends. If the supplementary angles satisfy the definition and condition of a linear pair, such as they must be adjacent and share a common side, then they the supplementary angles are also linear. Take note that all linear pairs are always supplementary*meaning the sum of the measures of their angles is 180 degrees) but not all supplementary angles are always linear pair.

B Supplementary angles and linear pairs both add to 180°. Two angles may be supplementary, but not adjacent and therefore not form a linear pair. If two angles are adjacent and not equal 180°, then they are not supplementary and do not form a linear pair.

Yes it is true

If two angles are supplementary they are a linear pair of angles

If by linear you mean they have a sum of 180 degrees, then yes.

If you want the angles to "line up" ie form a line with one ray from each angle, then the angles must have a common vertex and side, and they must be in the same plane.

The second definition is a subset of the first.

Not necessary! But the converse is true.
I mean, If two angles are linear pairs, then they are supplementary.

Your statement is not always true!

can be true or false.. to be a linear pair.. the two angles must share a common vertex and side.. and they must be in the same plane.
