I bought her album today and it is really good. Just wondered what other people thought of her. Do you know if the drug stories are true?

Hey! Daveheez shut up! Lily Allen is great! I love the single smile and i havnt heard her go off key or out of tune or whatever. Most singers nowadays are utter shite, but this girl has talent and i think she's gonna be big. She performs great live too!
And why is she tryna act like a 'black gangsta'? You don't see many 'black gangsta' singing ska now do you?

Record company probably made drug stories up to get unknown Lily Allen some media attention. Good luck with the album by the way.... if are you Lily Allen?

The drug stories seem to be true (in an interview with NME (i think) she talks about her experiance at glastonbury and how she tried ketamine and a few other hardish drugs). I dont particullary like her because of the fact that she seems to be slagging of anyone and everyone just for the sake of it so as to be controversial instead of just concentrating on her music. (i think the song is alright its just her personality that puts me off).

Trying to work out if the single 'Smile' is so bad its perversely good, or just so bad.....its rare to find such out of tune singing on a recorded track - blatantly some notes are in wrong key.
Again, lyrically can't work out if its charmingly quaint or just naff "white girl trying to sound like black gangsta".....in both cases I lean towards the latter.

She's fantastic - I've been listening to her for months. I believe the drug stories are true - yes. She had a very colourful upbringing ;-)

yeah, the stories are true, but that was her. i think she's very down to earth and can't help but like her... wonder why that is??

her single has a good toon to it, the song words are pritty sound but the image dress and trainers! whats that all about?
