Prepare to support yourself by gripping the saddle pommel or front and the reins in your left hand. Take your right leg out of the stirrup, lean forward, and swing the leg around to the other side of the horse. Your body will be laying lightly against the saddle and your right hand will be on the back end of it for support as you remove your left foot from the stirrup, then just hop down!

Lean forward, grab the saddlehorn, swing your leg over, and slide down :)
Use your arms to slow your descent :) be ready for the horse to step sideways if you are a big person :)

Have fun!

just like putting your pants on...one leg at a time

left foot in stirrup, swing right leg over saddle onto the ground, remove left foot from stirrup, place on ground, all while holding the reins so that the horse does not move.

leave one foot in the stirrup to hold your weight, and throw the other leg over the horses back to the side that your foot is in the stirrup on and hop down!

Feet first is the generally accepted method. But in a pinch, just let go of the reins and hope you don't land on your head.
