flaws? I have flaws? I thought I was like Mary Poppins, "practically perfect in every way."
Seriously though, the only major flaws I admit to are my temper, which I have gotten under control, my self confidence, which I have improved greatly, and my weight, which is being worked on.
And my smoking, which if I quit, all of the above goes out the window. can't explain why, though.

because some flaws become ingrained into habits and it is hard to change a lifetime worth of bad habit. also, to truly change it takes time, energy and time.... most people try for a day or two and when they dont see the change they just give up. personally... some of my flaws i wouldnt change.... they are what make me human.

It's hard to overcome, because they are your habits. It's what you have grown up with and have known all your life, just like an old friend, it's hard to let go even though you know it may be something that you should change.

we have to give up some control and we don't like that and change is uncomfortable to us, too.
