SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION - such a great movie that its sad to think that nothing will probably ever grace the big screen that was NEARLY as good for the rest of my LIFE! yes its just that good.

I'm from Canada, and Canadian films have taken a long time to both get recognition and become enjoyable!! Most of my favorite movies are American independent films. My favorite is Magnolia

Term of Endearment it came out in the eighties. Debra Winger and Shirley McClaine star in the movie and it is a real tearjerker. I have watched it a million times!

You should watch The Notebook. BEST LOVE STORY EVER! If you want comedy try The Wedding Crashers.
I just saw The Family Stone, that was pretty good too.
