So paper covers rock...isn't that more like giving it a hug, not defeating it in battle? If anything, rock should be a paperweight that keeps the paper prisoner.

yah I agree. Also, the rock might be pointy, and what if the paper is rice paper? It depends on the rock and the paper, i think.

Yeah well, you ever got a paper cut? Hurts like a son of a gun. But then, paper can't cut rock, so I think you are right!
