But in five years will put you in so much debt, you'll lose everything and will have to work like a slave for the rest of your life?

Uh, don’t think so. I wish that kind of theft were outlawed. I have only a modest mortgage to pay off, and a 15 year loan at that. I totally don’t understand why interest on your home loan is deductible anyway. The bigger your house, and the more debt you are willing to assume the more you are rewarded? Hello? What’s wrong here? Thanks for asking.

No, a few years of comfort does not equal a lifetime of debt. It wouldn't be worth it.

It may just be me, but the first part of this question sounded like the subject in a spam email...

I like this question. Let me say it another way: Come to USA, we promise you retirement, healthcare, medical benefits, a white house on a hill, etc.........then when we gotcha hooked, we'll steal the wealth you tried to build up with new methods you never dreamed of............hahahahahahahaha
