Clive, I would say a couple of years ago that there could not be love after love, after a twenty year marriage. But, I did find another love of my life and was married on the 4th. I do not know if it is that she is new to my life, but I want her in my presence all the time. I know it is impossible, I enjoy the time we do spend together. I had the same feelings for my ex, even after she file for divorce to be with her boss, but I knew I had to move on with my life and found another love of my life. Good Luck!

Yes, my SIL was married to my brother and was madly in love til brother decided he wanted something else. After a total melt down she finally moved on, grew stronger from the experience and met an incredible guy...it took awhile but she finally fell deeply in love again. The difference this time is she doesn't have a problem with letting this guy loose if a repeat of history happens and she is pretty confident that she won't melt down if it does.

Yes I do believe in love after love. Once you have had your heart broken, it is hard to believe that you can possibly love again, but time does heal broken hearts. I have heard that if something doesn't kill you it makes you stronger. I have heard so many people say I will never do that again, I will never love again, only to their own surprise they find someone wonderful and fall in love with them. Humans are wired for companionship, and love. Besides love is a strange thing, you can neither control it or predict it........It just happens!!!!!

Oh yes - I married a man I was so much in love with - I would cry when he went away, we spoke on the phone every day. Then it died, partly my fault, partly his fault.

There was a time when I thought I couldn't love again, and when a part of me thought I was impossible to love.

Now I love a wonderful man and he loves me and we've loved each other for 7 and a half years.
