THEY SUCK!
I bought a few things from them and they cancelled my order without telling me. When I called they apologized and gave me $100 off; so I ordered again. Then, they cancel it AGAIN without telling me! So I cancel the whole order and get really upset….3 days later I get an email saying my stuff was shipped WTF!! So I call them AGAIN and tell them off for sending my order after I had cancelled it.

Please do yourself a favor and don’t shop with them.

Not to mention the fact that very few of their costumer service reps can't speak English. But that’s what happens when a company gets 24hr cheap labor in India.

Boy oh boy...do I ever KNOW what you're talking about.

I will NEVER do business with dell again.

Long story to tell ...

Ordered a laptop. Came with a free printer. Got them to throw in a 256MB memory key and backback carrier.

1. Sent wrong printer. Told me to keep it, they'd send another.
2. Sent laptop and bag. Wrong bag. Told me to keep it, they'd send another.
3. Sent me 2 more printers, and 2 more bags. No memory key.
4. Sent me a memory key. WRONG ONE.
5. Problems with laptop. Send me another one.
6. No one returns my calls re: memory key and returning broken computer.
7. MULTIPLE calls later....I leave a nasty message saying that if someone doesn't call me back that day, that I am not sending the computer back and will never do business with them again.
8. No one calls me back.
9. One year later....they call and ask me if I want to extend my computer warranty which they told me a year ago, I couldn't extend unless I bought it at the time I purchased the laptop.
10. BUNCH OF F'ing CROOKS.

Even tho I got all this extra stuff, it wasn't worth it. I didn't get what I was told I would get and that is inexusable considering I spent $3000.

That and so many people there cannot speak english well enough!

I got my laptop from them, an XPS M140, and did have several problems. First, they cancelled the line of XPS I was going to purchase without warning. Then, I was talking to a sales associate about it, and asked where I could find an XPS M140. He told me that I could not find one anywhere, and should look at their Inspiron line. Well, the Inspiron line was more expensive for the same thing I was going to get on the XPS. I finally, by myself, without any help from dell, found their outlet site, where they were selling all of the leftover XPS M140s! I found one that was exactly how I was going to customize mine, with a few extras. It took me a week to find that, and I could have found it automatically if that sales associate had actually been any help! I wouldn't have gotten the laptop from them at all, except that it was the cheapest laptop that I could find that had everything I needed on it. It is a media computer, but comes equipped with Microsoft office when you ask for it, and wireless internet.

yes, ever since they hired all those Indians ( I'm not racist or prejudice).. dell, AOL, cingualr, and alot of other companies just started to suck.. i think they do it because they can pay them alot less. They dont know what they are doing.. AND LET ME TELL YOU!! IF YOU DECIDE TO BUY FORM DELL IN THE END.. DONT EVER TRY TO GET COSTUMER SUPPOSED IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG. You ll never get an answer.. i always end up fixing my own damn computer.

my friend wanted to buy a dell for a christmas, so i asked for a catalog to pick one from. i only started to receive circulars a year or two after that, way after the fact. due to poor service, the company lost at least one sale for that occasion.
