If you think the leafs will make the playoffs and go deep, then yes by all means. If not, he's a waste of money.

Honestly, forget Peca. He gained a rep as a Selke type guy thanks to Hasek stopping pucks. Peca is no good. He leaps off his skates to hit guys (which is illegal but no one calls that), does not score enough to warrant big money and is not really great at faceoffs. He has parlayed an entire NHL career from that Selke he won in Buffalo.
Sure, he woke up a bit in the playoffs with Edm but beware, you'll be scratching your head wondering why you paid thsi guy so much if he ends up on the Make Beliefs.
Knowing the Laffs, they'll sign him.

Why would Peca want to go to Tornonto!?!?!?!
Darcy Tucker cheap shotted him in the playoffs and almost ended his career!!!! Peca would never go to Toronto. All Islanders fans and all of the players on the Islanders hate the Leafs!!! I can't wait to see Cam Jaansen (Devils) or Brenden Witt (Islanders) fight tucker and kick his ***!!!
