baby girl, some times it's better that you just say "sorry, no". if they respect your feeling, they'll accept it.

In real life if you have to say no and even if it hurts their feelings and they need to respect taht and even they tell you no and you can do the same thing. If they said that i never say no to you.. tell them you need to tell me no too and it better that way.
you have your life too you know and you have right to say no because you are honest and yes they will be upset or crying or whatever they will learn and understand...
If you don't then I don't know why I giving your the answer for my help?
I always tell people no and guess what they they know. if you don't then one day you said no then they will say all those years you never say no why now???? so better do it now than Sorry.

re:I am haveing problems saying no to my friends and family on things.
.........this is known as Codependency!
So, before you give somone a 'no', test your answer on your self to see if it feels: hurtful, mean, unreasonable, bad, foolish, selfish, etc. if you do not feel overly hurt by what you plan to say, then say it and let the other person deal with their reactions to your 'no' or whatever you plan to say. after a while, you'll get the 'hang' of saying what you want is true for you INSTEAD of saying what you think they WANT TO HEAR.
if you need deeper guideance in speaking your tuth go to this place and start leaning how to say what you truely feel.

I used to be the same way. I finally started telling them that I am so sorry but I can't I have other things I need to do. If that didn't work I simply stated that I need time for myself and I am overwhelmed right now. I wish you the best.

Just say: "No." If you give excuses, you make it look like you are trying to get out of it.
You may say: "No, may be some other time."
People will love you even if you don't say yes all the time. They'll appreciate your honesty.
