The actual rank wouldn't influence me, but the fact that someone was in Eagle Scouts would. Anything that shows involvement in the community.

Eagle Scout is about personal development and discipline. It isn't so much that your are an eagle scout that makes any difference. What is does do is demonstrate that you are a disciplined and conscious individual, both in your corporate and in your personal life. An Eagle Scout is more likely to be a hard worker and have a positive moral than one who isn't.

All else being equal, I would absolutely hire a Scout that finished through to Eagle or Gold. I've seen the level of work and committment that it takes for the Scout to earn those two awards and it's nothing to take for granted.

Probably not at all, unless being an Eagle Scout somehow related to the qualifications for the job.

It would be a big influence on me because it shows that that person is able to stay with something till it is finished no matter how long it takes.
