In order to get really cogent answers, we need to get past the CARNAK method of providing information. When does it occur? How long will it run? HOW MANY MILES ON CAR? do you usually drive on less than 1/3 tank of fuel for sustained periods? Does the Check Engine Light come on?
PROBABLY you merely need a fuel filter. BUT you could indeed need a fuel pump. The filter would probably be less than $75. including labor at a repair facility. If it is indeed the pump, it could be as much as $500.00 to $600.00 including labor. You could also be in need of power train management diagnostics and repair.
