I agree with you - anorexia and extreme thinness has become too popular! I choose not to follow those trends, I'm healthy and happy... the world is changing, and you can change along with it or choose to be yourself! :)

You're kidding, right? The girls of the 80s were the first mass generation of bulemics and anorexics. There was nothing curvy about bodies back then that didn't come from shoulder pads. The "good old days" were even worse than today...cuz no one thought it was wrong to starve yourself or puke up everything you ate. At least today we recognize it's wrong and do things to help girls who suffer from these conditions. We learned this the hard way by living through it 20 years ago.

We can..........all us average women have to do is get up off our asses and do it, and show Hollywood we don't care about being like the singers actresses and models anymore, we care about looking normal and healthy................if we ignore the world and the media it could be easily said and done, but b/c that will never happen, b/c no one has the balls to stand up and fight for the cause, the women will continue to be degraded in the music videos and told they're not pretty b/c they're not a size 0!!!

yeah, I'm kinda tired of going into a store and feeling embarressed because all the small sizes are too small and all the big sizes are too big. I am "plus size" in some places and "misses" in others. I can't win for losing when I buy any article of clothing except socks and shoes. Shoe shopping's easy since I only wear a size 6.5.

It is all in how you view yourself. Don't let people make you feel that being anorexic is more atractive. Most men I know prefer an average woman with a little curves. How do you think people like J-lo and Salma Hayek got famous. Everyone else was stick skinny, and they walked in with sexy curves. My man loves my curves, and if you love yours, and act like you think you are sexy, other people will be attracted to your confidence, and like it too.
