Yep twice! The first time probley about 6 months, the second time 2 months. I suggest an IUD. They cost alot at first but they last 10 years and if you add up the cost of buying pills every month you save BIG TIME. Also the chance of becoming pregnant on one are less then 1%. Plus you dont have to worry about side affects, or forgetting to take a pill. Plus when you do decide to become pregnant you just have it taken out and can become pregnant right away. As with pills it can take months to get your cycle back.

I didn't take pills but I was on the patch with my oldest child and the Nuva ring with my youngest. I was on the patch for 3 months when I got pregnant. I was on the Nuva Ring for 3 weeks when I got pregnant.

It happened to a friend of mine. The pill isn't 100% sucessful, there is still a chance of pregnancy with each encounter.

Take the pill and use condoms. The condom, I believe, is the most effective anyway, but they can break. And pills can't protect you from diseases.
