It is *such* a personal decision!! You need to think about it and talk about it until you think you know what you want...then make a decision with your heart, not your head.

I'm almost 36 and have four children (11,7,5 and 2). The funny thing is we were content with two children. Then came the surprise of our third child. The most difficult things for us were that he was colicky while our first two babies had been really easy. Also, we had to shift from the man defense to a zone. We were totally outnumbered. But after the first couple of years things evened out and we actually got the itch for another baby. Surprisingly, the fourth child just slipped right in without any adjustment at all. Anyway, I think what we feel is that we may have been fine had we not had the last two children but our lives certainly would not have been as rich. They bring us double the joy.

Why not? I have 3, ages 3, 2 and 1. Trust me when you have two the third is no problem. Besides if you want three might as well have them all close together because once you are out of the diapers and bottle phase, you won't want to return. They may fight with each other but they LOVE each other even more and protect one another too! :)

I say, if the two of you are happy and enjoy the children you have, do it. Life is to short not to do and have the things you want out of life. At 38, the time could probably not be more right. Good luck in whatever you decide.

If you want them! But you have to realize by the time they graduate you and you husband may be pretty old! My parents wanted to have another, but they decided that they didn't want to have kids in the house when they were older! And they are 35 now! Also realize if you want to retire later on in life, you may not be able to if you have a kid in the house! Just be happy with what you have! But if you really really want another child, do what you think is right! Plus, the kids you have now are pretty young, and having three young kids in the house could be quite a hassle! Also make sure you can financially handle three kids!

That is a decision you and your husband need to make together. I could tell you to go for it until I am blue in the face but in the end you are the one who has to have the baby and take care of it. So that decision needs to come from the two of you, not you and the yahoo answers community.

If your ready to be outnumbered, go for it!!!!!! Children are a true blessing and if you are prepared for the small hurdles ahead, don't let anyone stop you. By the way, I am 39 and had a beautiful baby daughter 7 months ago. It is wonderful!

If you can financially handle having 3 children and you have a stable home and are not completely exausted from the 2 you have, I say, Go for it!

I have 3 girls and they are wonderful. Its giving them up as teens that is hard. You'll learn to hate boys.
