No, you put 3 years olds together to play, they don't give a damn about the color of skin, but you put 7 year olds together, somethinghas changed. PARENTS MEDIA

No, it's not necessary, but sadly because of Human nature, it's inevitable and irreversable. There will always be racism and things of that nature. However, theoretically, if we keep up what we're doing right now, it's all going to collapse because of all the mixed-descent couples. In the end, I think we'll all be one people who share one common gene that causes all to have the same skin tone.

I don't know, but look at how diverse everything is. Heritages are losing their purity and a lot of people are part this, part that, and part of something no one would have ever thought of.

But no, it's not necessary.

Racial tension comes when members of every race think that somehow they are superior (or inferior) to other races. Necessary? No. Stupid? Yes. There are differences in the races, but being slightly different does NOT mean inferior or superior. It means different, and we can make use of those differences to make this world a better place for all of us. I have seen some improvement in race relations in my life, but it will take time for any really significant improvement to make the races work together consistently.

Of course it's not necessary. It is ignorant people who want to feel better by belittling others. I'm glad that most of the racist are dying off. And that's a good thing.

I don't belive prejudism is necessary.. but i'm predjudice but definately not ignorant about it...first hand experience about ignorance.. i used to view everyone as equal.. then i attended a 60% african american highschool, and waitressed.. races are not the same.. it's indefinately proven everytime i would serve a white table to a black table or enter a class where the majority is black.. i now judge everyone differently... i was not brought up this way-- they made me this way ...... it's not just blacks.. it can be any color.. i'm sure alot of people can agree

Amanda, are you suggesting that 3 year olds are the example we should be setting for ourselves? If so that's great. I'm going to forget everything I've ever learned, quit my job, start slobbering on myself and have other people take care of me. Almost like being a senior citizen.

I agree 100% with you. The reason you mentioned is exactly why racism will always exist. "Do unto others" doesn't mean anything anymore. It's everyone for themselves, and nevermind the next guy. It's unfortunate that humanity is becoming inhumane.

It is not necessary, but it's a great diversion for the real issues at hand. If it was all about diversity, people would not fight amongst themselves. Clearly, diversity is just one more thing to get riled up about.

I do not believe that is necessary, but it almost never be avoided. There are many ignorant people in the world, black and white, who can't see past skin color. It is unfortunate, but it's reality.
