i would go with a comedy.....laughing is always a good thing...and for a first date it would prolly be best....watching a scarry depressing movie prolly wouldnt set a good mood for either of you. just make sure you both agree on the movie...you dont want to force him to sit through a movie he dont want to see.

Go see Lady in the water. I wouldn't recommend John Tucker Must Die. He might take it offensively. Because the girls plot against him. plus, in a scary movie, you can get close to your date.

Lady in the Water - If you scare easily (or he does) you may be a little close during the movie
John Tucker Must Die - If you want to laugh

John tucker must die, and he may not like the idea and remember if u see any movie be sure u pay attention to ur surroundings. He may try and cop a feel. Have fun on ur date.

Always keep a first date light and casual. You want to have the opportunity to get to know each other before you make any romantic decisions. I would suggest a comedy - keeps the mood up-beat and fun.

Just go see something you're both interested in watching. It's not going to be that good of a date if one of you's are bored out of your mind!
Plus, if you both enjoy the movie you'll chat about it that bit more and at least you've got one conversation point :-)

well, for a first date, i think comedy would be more appropriate, because, well, its hard to explain...just watch something that doesnt have a lot of tough things to figure out in it, something simple and funny that you'll both like.
