Shouldn't this be the first and most important issue we teach our kids?

I agree with you to an extent. The Constitution is needed, however, the need for the acknowledgement of God is far more so!

Because the teachers do not want the children to know them.
Also the American Communist League Union......I mean the Armerican Civial Liberty Union does not want anyone to know what it says in the Constitution unless they agree with them!

Not enough time. They are too busy showing students how to put condoms on cucumbers, and promoting gay equality, abortion, and anti Bush.

There are only 24 hours in a day, what do you expect?

Who said they don't? They do learn this all throughout their school careers.
