I am 35 weeks along and yesterday i was having some really bad back pain that was coming and going untill i stood up then it went away then when i would sit back down it would come back. Today i haven't been having any pain or discharge. Could this mean that i am going into labor soon. Please give me your honest opinion.

They sound like either stress on your back from the weight of your baby, or Braxton-Hicks contractions. These are 'practise' contractions, which is just your body preparing itself for the real thing. If you are still worried, you could talk to your midwife about it.

I honestly could tell you I went through the same thing. When I was 34 weeks with my son I started getting back pain and discharge my husband made me go with him for a walk around the block at night and then I got home drank a warm tea and took a nice warm shower. By 9 am the next morning I was having contractions.

I am 34 weeks and have had the same thing - my doctor said that the round ligament pain can begin in your back. But, it is better to be safe than sorry and call your doctor's office.

I haven't even read the entire question. The fact that your even asking it means you need to see a doctor right away
