My aunt, a wonderful seamstress, cut my jeans off just below the butt and took the pant legs and made a small ruffle where they had been cut. Very cute!!

This may help, not certain, but what you would have to do is cut your jeans a little longer than the desired length of the skirt you are intending to make, then somehow, I guess carefully, undo the seam, and use some of the material from the bottom of the same jeans to insert where the seam was and make a skirt. It will probably take a lot of thread and a sewing machine (due to the thickness of denim) but I think it would work well like that.

1. Cut off to desired length, even if that means leaving some legs.
2. Cut inseams.
3. Sew together to form a skirt.
4. Any touch-ups or additional things.

Look for a pattern on the internet, but I've done it by cutting the inside seam out, and then inserting a triangle of fabric to the skirt on each side and sewing it together. It works really well, and it's great to do when your favorite pants get a hole in the crotch.

i'm a skirts and clothing style of lady besides yet I placed on skinny denims each as quickly as in awhile too. individually i like to placed on them with tunics, or an outstanding geared up tee with a blazer or a vest over suitable. i individually am no longer probably into tank tops or infant doll tops yet you genuinely could desire to placed on them with skinny denims in case you had to. As for shoes, particularly plenty something is going with skinny denims, heels, footwear, residences, despite you sense soft in. well-known, they are black denims particularly plenty something and each little thing could circulate nicely with them =)

just cut them above the legs, but personally, i wouldnt do that, its like taking a step back into the 90's, theres lots of nice denim skirts in shops that arent too expensive, you should try them. (",)

cut the inside seams out of the pants legs, then resew the inner seams together. you'd take the two top seams and sew them together, and do the same with the bottoms.
