does it matter what kind of shirt you're wearing or is it dependent upon the "look" you're going for? what are the general rules? please give details, thanks.

Never tuck...even if the doorman wont let you into the strip club... When engaged in day-to-day action adventure, I say NEVER TUCK...it lame, metrosesxual, 1980's nonsense of a bygone era.

u cant tuck in a t-shirt or a polo only dress shirts n2 dress pants, maybe jeans depending on if its a really nicme long-sleeve dress shirt with shoes.

Shirt with straight bottom - untuck
But seriously, I think it's up to the wearer.
