Billy King won't trade Iverson for just anybody, but he has made it clear that he'd deal Iverson if the right deal came about. Still, trading a superstar who makes so much money is very difficult, so I really can't see him getting dealt before the All Star break, which is good for the Sixers I think because it would force other teams to anti up a little more. The teams I keep hearing are Boston, Memphis and Golden State and possibly Denver. I don't see him going to Boston because I can't see the Sixers trading him to a division rival. Memphis doesn't seem to have enough to offer as far as young talent unless the Sixers are really high on Rudy Gay and Jerry West is willing to deal him. Golden State would be interesting, because they seem to have the depth to make the deal work.
I don't think there's any guarantees. If you're hearing that the Sixers are willing to give up Iverson for anything, then you're just hearing the media making stupid claims to sell their publication. If anything, I could see him staying where he is because a trade might be too difficult to pull off. On the other hand, it's not like he's untradable. The Sixers discovered that no one wants Webber, which leaves only Iverson's big contract to move.

iverson is a star player and star players need to shine. that's what i heard today on a sports show on TV but the sixers have had so many offers and none of the offers are obviously good enough. iverson does need to leave Philly in my opinion he will win a championship in the future no doubt but its whatever he feels. Good luck A.I

I love Philly and I wil seriously cry if he gets traded, but seriously the man deserves some type of Chmpionship ring and he will never get that in Philly until they re-vamp the team.

the guy is 33 there not going to win with him get some young talent that will make them better in 3-4 yrs.I heard a trade that would send IVERSON to CLIPPERS for MAGGETTI and LIVINGSTON,both teams benefit if that trade occurs.

He wants to be in Philly.
If he isn't wanted, THEN he will want to leave, but he wants to be a sixer for life.

Because he is selfish on and off the court. PLUS, he's getting older and his games per season will be going downhill.

He's getting older, and the Sixers figure that they should trade him while he's still got value.

Iverson will leave if the 76'ers don't want him. If they do, then he will stay.
