Microsoft Word wasn't really intended as a program to create webpages (although it can save files as html files). You would be better off with something nice like Dreamweaver (which produces good code and nice looking websites once you learn how to use it). If you don't care about quality, Microsoft FrontPage will also work.

microsoft word is a text based editor you can also create web sites but better you go to MS frontpageif you need to use only MS products....
if you need a really cool website then just download any of the HTML editors and build your website in few clicks and keys
or the best option would be to develop using dreamweaver using that you can create all web sites using many languages..

You don't use Microsoft Word. If you have Microsoft Frontpage, you use that. However, after that you have to "publish" it but what I usually do is copy the html and paste it onto an online webpage. The help function will explain it in detail.
