I am no expert on this sort of thing. And this may be a stupid question to ask but I am going to ask anyways. I had unprotected sex in May 31st through June6th. But I was on birth control Nuvaring during the unprotected sex and I took it out to replace with a new one.. June 25th.. when I should have just let me have a period, I didnt because I put a nuvaring in so I could continue or whatever having no period. Well, its almost time to replace the nuvaring and have a period but I have been soo tired, craving like slushes and mashed potatos that is the only thing that tastes good to me. I am feeling nausated, stomach cramps, lower back hurts, headaches, eyes hurt, thirsty, peeing every hour on the hour, bleeding alittle bit (spotting i guess u would call it), weak, and it hurts to lay on my belly. So I know some of this are signs of pregnancey but do you think I could be pregnant even on the birthcontrol? Please help.. I am open to any advice. And I am sorry this is a stupid question.

There is always a chance of getting pregnant on birth control. If you are having all these symptoms, I would take a pregnancy test and even if it says negative, go see your doctor. Your body is trying to tell you something.

Actually, you need to talk to your doctor. If you just started this birth control, then it may not have taken effect yet when you had sex.
But some of these symptoms could also be caused by a (all besides the craving slushies and mashed potatoes, which could be psycosymatic) could be symptoms of a urinary tract infection that has begun to spread to your kidneys. No lie, it happened to me once. By the time I got to the doctor, I almost had to be hospitalized.

just go check with a doctor and have it over with. its not common to get pregnant while on birth control, but its not impossible. not having sex is the only way to really prevent pregnancy.
Anyway, just go get blood work done, and do it soon, incase you are pregnant (which is unlikely), the hormones in the ring will hurt the unborn.
Usually if you think youre pregnant you're body will act like it is, its one of the wonders of the female brain.
JUST GO TO THE DOCTOR

This is NOT a stupid question. You should call your OB/GYN and request an appointment ASAP, because you could have an infection or even an ectopic pregnancy. You need to have an ultrasound and a pregnancy test, and possibly more diagnostic tests on top of those. Good luck!

be careful with it, I took it for per week very last year after an operation and that i head severe subject matters even as i tried to stop taking it. I had to wean myself off over some days. The medical professional stated it changed into unusual for a dependency to advance as quick notwithstanding it of route takes position. i changed into on a severe dose and that i doubt your medical professional may have advised you to take as a lot yet i'd be careful besides.

You might be pregnant, you might be having complications with your Nuvaring, you could have an STD, you might just be sick, but please go call the doctor and explain all this to her/him.
