In simple terms, voltage is a measure of how strong the force that pushes electrons through a circut is. Current is a measure of how strong that flow of electrons throughout the circut is.

In other words, voltage pushes electrons thus generating current.

current is the amount of charge i.e. the no. of electrons flowing thru the cross section of a conductor per second. it's measured in amperes (SI system)
voltage is the potential difference between any conducting / non-conducting body and a grounded system (having potential of 0 volts ).it's measured in volts (SI system)
