Yes -- and spam and chatting and the other junk that fills this site. It can't take more than two or three people to monitor the traffic and block the offending postings, but they just don't do it. It might be a liability thing, though, or because they would prefer to put the onus for a removal on some anonymous fellow-user rather than being big boys and taking some responsibility themselves. The garbage on this site at times tempts me to abandon it altogether.

I don't think yahoo should do anything. It's still a free country and people should be allowed to express their opinions. I'm not a bigot or a racist, I believe in freedom of speech. Let them say what they want, and let everyone else add their own thoughts as well.

Yes, there are too many people using this site to spew their views of hatred, racism, and bigotry. An open forum for conversation on issued such as race and religon is perfectly acceptable, but no one needs to see open questions that are nothing more than a cheap shot at a person or group.

It's one thing to state an opinion, it's another thing to spout vicious, hatefull things for no reason. I feel it's my right to report truely hateful speeches. I don't come here to have people using the "N" word and talking about how much a particular race of people is bad.

I think the users need to do a better job of ignoring things that are not worth messing with, and living with the fact that people all have their own opinions. Does that make sense?
