Alexander was born in the ancient Greek city of Pella, the capital of the ancient Greek state of Macedon or Macedonia!
The ancient state of Macedon or Macedonia is still almost entirely in the Greek borders, and the city of Pella is one of the most important archeological sites of Greece.
As every other Greek state the ancient Macedonians were speaking a Greek dialect which was Dorian Greek (very similar to the Spartans).
We know that because of the numerous historical records and above all the archaeological discoveries!
The ancient Macedonians claimed their origin from the ancient Greek city of Argos (in Peloponnesus in south Greece). According to their mythology a Greek clan, (the “Timenides”) who were descendants of Hercules, moved in North Greece and formed the first Kingdom of Macedon which later became known as Macedonia. We have the statements of the Macedonians themselves recorded by the ancients!
Thoukididis verifies that the Macedonian kings' origin was from the Greek town of Argos (Book 2, 99.3):
"The country on the sea coast, now called Macedonia, was first acquired by Alexander, the father of Perdiccas, and his ancestors, originally Temenids from Argos."
and from Herodotus, Book I, 56
"...but the Dorians on the contrary have been constantly on the move; their home in Deucalion's reign was Phthiotis and in the reign of Dorus son of Hellen the country known as Histiaeotis in the neighbourhood of Ossa and Olympus; driven from there by the Cadmeians they settled in Pindus and were known as Macedons; thence they migrated to Dryopis, and finally to the Peloponnese, where they got their present name of Dorians."
In Herodotus (Book 9, paragraph 45.2) Alexander I , king of Macedonia says:
"... I myself am by ancient descent a Greek, and I would not willingly see Hellas change her freedom for slavery ..."
Tell your king who sent you how a Greek, ruler under him of the Macedonians entertained you well at board and bed."
(Herodotus V, 20, 4)
Alexander III (the Great) talking to the king of the Persians says: (Arrian, Anabasis of Alexander II,14,4)
"Your ancestors invaded Macedonia and the rest of Greece and did us great harm, though we had done them no prior injury [...] I have been appointed hegemon (leader) of the Greeks [...] "
Arrian ("Alexander the Great" 1,16,7) describes the following incident: After winning the battle of Granicus ...
"He [Alexander the Great] sent to Athens three hundred Persian panoplies to be set up to Athena in the acropolis; he ordered this inscription to be attached: Alexander son of Philip and the Greeks, except the Lacedaemonians, set up these spoils from the barbarians dwelling in Asia"
Herodotus also states clearly the Greek origin of the Macedonians!
"And that these descendants of Perdiccas are Greeks, as themselves say, I happen to know myself,”
(Herodotus V, 22, 1)
Although there are numerous references from the ancients (and unfortunately there isn’t enough room to mention them all) the most important evidence are the Archaeological discoveries!
Everything that has been found in Ancient Macedonia is only Greek!
All the inscriptions on monuments, coins and other artifacts are written in Greek. Hundred of inscriptions both state and private are all in Greek. The names of the Macedonians written by themselves on their tombs are only Greek! There are no ancient monuments with a different language. Furthermore there are a large number of discoveries in Asia in the route of Alexander the Great. All these monuments, discovered in Persia Egypt Pakistan, Syria, India and many more countries, prove that Alexander’s quest was Greek and that his goal was to spread the Greek civilization all over the world. Don’t forget that Alexander created a gigantic Greek empire and make Greek an international language!
His successors continued his worked and they formed the Hellenistic Greek world!
As you said Aristotle was the teacher of Alexander the Great. He was from Stageira a colony of the southern Greek island of Andros!
He was student of Plato and of course he was Greek!
He is considered one of the most important Greek philosophers and he had influenced the world for thousand of years!
Hope I’ve answered your question!
(Note please that a lot of people mistakenly confuse the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedon (the Greek region of real Macedonia) with the modern republic of Slavic-Macedonia!
The confusion has started a few years ago because the state of Slavic-Macedonia (actually its constitutional name is republic of Makedonija) started to use as an international name the Greek name Macedonia)

Born: In Macedonia.
Language: Greek.
Evidences: All the tombs (of Kings and soldiers of Macedonia), and all the ancient scripts where in ancient Greek. There was NO other language spoken by ancient Macedonians.
Aristotle was Greek.

PS. As about the Slavs who live in the north west of Macedonian (which is just 1/4 of the Macedonian region) they passed Danube and they inhabited the Balkans 12 centuries after Christ was born. Today they claim to be the ancestors of ancient Macedonians and they call their country Macedonia. That's an insult to Greek history.

Alexandre the III, son of King Philip and Queen Olympias (from Ipiros, high priestess of Kabyrian Mysteries) was born in the capital Pella, which then was by the sea!
From archaeological evidence, including writing on temples, tombs, cities, etc., the Macedonians were speaking and writing Greek! From more evidences we could conclude that they were considered Greeks, as they were partaking in the Olympics, Amphictyonian Meetings, etc.
Regarding Aristotle, he was born and raised in Olynth, a city in Chalcidice (which took its name from Chalkis, of South Greece who founded cities about 2800 years ago), about 100 miles from Thessaloniki. Olynthians were Ionians, especially from Athens.

First of all its Alexander not Alexandre the Great! He was born in Pella, Macedonia. They spoke a Grecian dialect similar to Greek. History indicates that they lived near and in harmony with Greece and many of their names(people and cities) were Greek in origin.
Aristole was Greek and from the city of Stagira in northern Greece. Your Welcome!

Alexander the Great was the son of Phillip of Macedonia. I suppose there was a Macedonian language, but Macedonia was just north of Greece, and Phillip conquered Greece, and Alexander's tutor, Aristotle, was from Athens, Greece, so I'm sure Alexander spoke Greek.
