i am looking for a book to read online anyone know any good sites where the books are free to read online

You can download hundreds (if not thousands) of books free if you act before August 4th...the books are only "free" if downloaded between July 4th and August 4th...they have many different books to read.

You can select books to read online for free at Page By Page Books. These books are mostly classics. If you search the Web, you can find many other Web sites that offer book titles for free to read online as well.

If you're looking for more current stories and maybe a broader selection, then you might see if your local library has the capability of letting you check out books to read online. I know some libraries in bigger cities offer this feature, but am not sure where.

Check out www.readbookonline.net This site has selections of greatest books of the 20th century, nobel prize winners, and pulitzer prize winners. Includes fiction/novels, poetry, short stories, essays, and plays.

Another site for poetry is www.poets.org.
